Fun: Are you a fashion victim?

Fun: Are you a fashion victim?

Answers on a postcard...

Here's a lovely response.

I died. DIED DIED DIED!

Here's something from daddy. He *does* make sense you know.

"To me, fashion should be personal. Wear what you're comfortable wearing, wear what's NOT expected. You know, don't wear something because somebody says you should, wear because it's comfortable, wear because it's YOU, wear because you want to wear it."

AMEN!

Foot binding in Japan? Sorry hun, that's in China.

Funny how they make it seem like "not being a fashion victim" = no fashion sense at all.

it's either they're confused with the definition of "fashion victim" or i am. i always thought fashion victims are those who are NOT dressed in fashion.

victim by definition means;
- [n] an unfortunate person who suffers from some adverse circumstance.

while ADVERSE means "[a] in an opposing direction", the circumstance could most likely be fashion. therefore, one could say that the ADVERSE CIRCUMSTANCE is "opposing fashion" or being against fashion.

if you replace the right words, the clear definition of a fashion victim is, [n] an unfortunate person who suffers from being against fashion (or not being in fashion).

am i right or am i right?

in conclusion, those who ARE actually IN fashion are not victims. they're simply fashionable and fabulous. ;)

a "fashion victim" is a victim of fashion... too trendy, too "in fashion"... so much so that it's not fashionable anymore. Bright Yellow Juicy Velour head to toe, including the dog carrier, in the middle of summer just because Juicy is big. Someone who is out of fashion is just that, a fashion victim tried too hard.

Tattooed lady = dumbass.

Foot binding was a Chinese practice. The Japanese OUTLAWED foot binding in Taiwan when they took it over.
