Christian Dior: Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2007-2008 Fashion Show

Christian Dior: Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2007-2008 Fashion Show

This has got to be one of the most grandest haute couture celebration that I have ever seen in my entire life. I don't think it can get any more grand than this -- the venue (Versailles, no less), the crowd, the standing ovation, the finale, the longest walk big papa John Galliano did -- 2007 definitely belongs to the House of Christian Dior!

The soundtrack is ok; I love the first 2 tracks and the last one. Everything else in between is mediocre. It's soo... "gay club". Think of the club Queen in Paris at the stroke of midnight with all the go-go boys dancing on the ledge and all the confetti.

The clothes are amazing; I particularly like the first few outfits, especially the white dresses. The new "New Look" on Gisele is stunning. Speaking of which, Gisele totally owned the show. She's the ultimate Dior girl!

Enough verbal diarrhea. Just watch the show. You won't regret it.

I love this collection. Especially the beginning with the understated outfits. This show represented craftmanship that is at risk at being lost in France.
